A Brief History by Alex Stone

Bonomania is the Ultimate U2 tribute act. There's no other way to put it. They bring forth the spirit of U2 in a way that even U2 hasn't done in years.

In 1997 Seth Lipscher and Andy Toomey joined forces to fulfill their dream of playing all U2 music in a live band. With the addition of Jake Morales on Bass and Kevin Templeton on drums, and a handful of rehearsals, BonoMania took the Northeast club circuit by storm. The response was enormous. They soon settled into a heavy touring schedule, and began performing regularly at NYC's Bleeker Street hot spot the Rock And Roll Café, where they shared the stage with other well known tribute acts like The Soft Parade and The Machine.

After a brief hiatus, during which the various members pursued other projects, the band has returned in force. With a new rhythm section and a new hit CD by U2 on the shelves, BonoMania has begun to rock again. Their fiery performances include material from the entire U2 catalog, including new hits like Elevation, Beautiful day and Vertigo. Don't miss this killer act live. They truly bring the music of U2 to you.
